15 November | Olympic Weightlifting Workshop — Snatch

Discover the Snatch from the ground up! Join us on Sunday, 15th November from 09:00–12:00 for a 3-hour workshop dedicated to technique, drills and building confidence with the barbell. Open to all levels, including beginners.

On Sunday, 15th November from 09:00 to 12:00, we’re dedicating three hours to one of the most technical and exciting movements in Olympic weightlifting: the Snatch.

Whether you have never tried a Snatch before, regularly practice it in CrossFit or simply want to feel more confident with your technique, this workshop is open to you.

Learn the Snatch from the ground up

The Snatch can seem intimidating. It combines speed, strength, mobility, coordination and confidence under the bar; all in one movement.

During this workshop, we'll slow things down and break the Snatch into its key positions, using a series of drills and progressions to help you understand how the movement works.

We'll work on positioning, bar path, timing, turnover and the receiving position, gradually putting the pieces together into the complete lift.

The goal of this workshop is to help you understand the lift and feel more confident every time you approach the bar, which will directly translate into a more precise and efficient lift.

Complete beginners are welcome

You do not need any previous Olympic weightlifting experience to participate.

If you're completely new to the Snatch, this is a great opportunity to learn the movement properly from the beginning in a dedicated environment.
